Proserv, a leading provider of services and bespoke solutions to clients across the drilling, production and decommissioning market sectors is giving back to the community by donating furniture and office equipment to local charities, including mental health charity, Great Yarmouth & Waveney Mind.
Great Yarmouth & Waveney Mind is a forward thinking, community based organisation that supports mental wellbeing. They provide a range of information and services to help people suffering from mental distress live full and independent lives. They provide one to one support, social groups and workshops for young people (aged 14-25), Adults and Carers. They run a residential housing service, enabling residents to live as independently as possible in a supportive and homely environment. They also run a half acre community garden project and provide mental health education and promotion to individuals, schools, colleges and businesses.
Rachel Walsh, Fundraising and Communications Manager, said: “We’re always grateful to receive donations. The furniture and electrical goods donated by Proserv will be distributed locally between our offices, residential unit and community garden project, helping to improve the working environment and facilities for our staff, volunteers and people who access our services.”
Robin Beales, Facilities Manager at Proserv, said: “With our recent move to an enhanced facility within Great Yarmouth’s Beacon Park, we had items of furniture which we were keen to see go to a new home. Helping the communities within which we work is a priority for Proserv as a whole so we are delighted to be able to assist such a worthwhile charity.”
